The history:
Knitaddicted.com was created out of my old site cosy-place.com. The site was first put up in 1996 and initially I wanted to create a site where I could sell my knitting, and share my patterns with others. However, it quickly became apparent that what the majority of visitors wanted was a resource for knitters. With the change in focus, the need for a new name came up, and what better name for a site for knitters than Knitaddicted.
The Future
Knitaddicted.com is in transition. We have gone through a restructuring of the site, and it has become much easier for me to update it, thanks to my husband Jarle and the people at Netron who produce the publishing system this site uses these days - Webdesk.
