Dishcloths / Facecloths

Longer lasting, good scrubbing and for the most part a great way to test different stitch patterns. These small projects are fun to use and great to make.

To have your own free pattern on this page email: sharon@knitaddicted.com

Cherry Blue Dishcloth
This is another easy pattern in my line of free dishcloth patterns. This cloth is smaller than I would like because I wanted to use up a partial ball of yarn. The next time I make this cloth I will be sure to cast on more stitches.

Eyelets on the Diagonal Hand towel
This is a very pretty cloth. I used varigated yarn and feel the yo help broke up the varigations a bit. I think both sides are pretty although the wrong side is purled. If you have any question, please send them to me stating pattern and problems you enounter.

Feel Soo Good Dishcloth
A partial ball of yarn desperate to be used up and I came up with the pattern

Flecked Dishcloth
Use as many colours of worsted weight cotton as you like. Change every 2 rows for a clourful cloth

Kate's Dishcloth
I made this cloth for my friend Kate. She loved it and made one for herself in a pretty variegated yarn. You can see a picture of Kate's cloth on sknit on piture trail. Got to picture trail, visit albums, type in knits and go to the dishcloth album.

Last Night's Dishcloth
This is a very easy cloth made in the chevron pattern, I gave it the name because I wanted a project that would be finished fast and started it the night before. Hence the name LAST NIGHT'S DISHCLOTH.

My First Dishcloth
This is the first cloth I made after being introduced to knitting dishcloths. Easy and fun.

Peekaboo Dishcloth
A great pattern for using up bits of left over cotton we have in our stash

Pink Dishcloth
A two row patten is used to make this dischoth and it is completely reversible. You can add more stitches if you would like to make your cloth larger.

Pretty Diamond Cloth
Made entirely with knit and purl stitches this is a pretty cloth. Even though it isn't reversible but it has a pretty backside

Puffy Dishcloth and Hand Towel
When I joined the DRUS list the ladies kept talking about sending a puffy. It took me some time to figure out that they were talking about the bags we knitters send yarns and stuff in to each other. I thought it would be fun to design a cloth so I found this pattern that reminds me of a PUFFY.

Reversible Lozenge
Another fun pattern to make. If you make this before I do again. Please send a picture.

Scrap Yarn Dishcloth
I used worsted weight cotton in different colours to make this cloth. It is preferrable to have enough to finish the two rows in the pattern. Change colours when you are finished with previous two colors. You can make this as long as you like

Scrubber Dishcloth
Highly textured with purl and knit sts on both sides, guranteed to give those dishes a good scrub. :) Easy and fun to knit. This cloth looks very nice on both side and can be considered reversible. In order to use up the entire ball of yarn, I cast on multiple sts of the stitch count about 26 sts and knit coaster till I ran out of yarn.

Sharons Eyelet Facecloth
Pretty in variegated or solid coloured cotton cloth and easy to knit. A great gift item and can be made in an afternoon.

Sharon's Wavy Dishcloth
This is one of my favorite dishcloth to date. Use as many or as few colours as you like.

Soft and Fluffy Dishcloth
Knowledge of yo's and k2togs are important in this deisgn. It is a fairly easy pattern to execute. Pattern can be seen on Picture trail and in that pattern I used Worsted weight cotton. In this pattern I used sport weight cotton for a smaller cloth

Sunshine Dishcloth
Variegated yarn combination of purl and knit stitches make the peferct reversible dishcloth. Pretty and reversible, easy for the beginner.

Take a Break Dishcloth
That sweater is taking too long. That sock is made on size "0" needles you want to finish something now. Try this cloth, a reversible-textured dishcloth. Fun and easy to make.

Very Easy Textured Dishcloth
Great for dishes and easy to make.

ZigZag Lace Facecloth
This delicate cloth is a great gift. The lace is easy to do and you'll have the pattern memorized very quickly. The garter stitch border helps keep the pattern from stretching out too much
